Thousands of Iranians have gathered in Tehran for the funeral of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in a US and Israeli bombardment at the start of the four-month war.

While supporters chant slogans of revenge and vow defiance against America, the country remains deeply divided.
