I’ve been wanting to revisit Sanitarium for a long time, after making a video on it over a decade ago.
So at long last, in this video essay, we descend into the depths of a fractured mind of an amnesiac in an insane asylum – through grief, trauma, identity, and the psychology of survival – and discover that nothing in this game was placed there randomly. In the underworld of grief, everything means something.
