I Flew on the World's ONLY Skydiving DC-9!

AI Article: Perplexity Google Lens
The Douglas DC-9 was one of the first short- to medium-haul airliners developed in the U.S., and was later developed into the MD-80, MD-90, and Boeing 717.

Manufactured from 1965 to 1982, there aren't many of the original DC-9s still flying today, with some exceptions.

One of the more notable ones still flying is in the city of Perris, California, operating as a skydiving aircraft, of all things! It also happens to be the only flying DC-9-20 series jet in the world, of which only 10 were ever built.

This was something I had to go see fly for myself a few months ago, and my visit there turned into more than I could've imagined!
