Four bladesmiths forge Fossil Damascus blades by combining Raindrop, Sharktooth, and Ladder pattern steel bits with powdered steel. After a brutal bone chop and apple slice test, two finalists advance to recreate the iconic Musketeer Rapier.

Then, a second epic battle has bladesmiths use San Mai technique to forge signature blades from heavy metal band equipment and W1 round stock. The finalists take on the legendary Tizona del Cid, the sword of El Cid.
