I continue relearning GTA V speedrunning after years away, trying to get my early-game segment down to a level where I’m comfortable moving on to the rest of the run. Unfortunately, GTA V isn’t the only thing fighting me: my controller stops registering inputs, Elgato repeatedly breaks my split controls, random traffic ruins strategies and I make plenty of mistakes of my own. Somehow, through all of that, I still manage to scrape out a tiny personal best and finish with a 57:13 gold as I get closer to returning to full-game GTA V speedruns.
