Overview: In January 2026, both Lindsay Clancy and her husband, Patrick Clancy, filed separate medical malpractice and wrongful death lawsuits against several mental health providers, alleging negligent treatment led to the deaths of their three children in January 2023. The lawsuits claim providers failed to properly diagnose postpartum psychosis and bipolar disorder, instead overprescribing medications that caused a severe, fatal psychotic break. Lindsay Clancy is on trial for the deaths of her children, she is claiming Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI).
