Saudi-Pakistan-Turkey Defence Pact | Attack on One = Attack on All? | Middle East News | N18G
A major new defence agreement has been signed by Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Türkiye amid escalating security tensions across the Middle East.
The three countries have signed a mutual defence pact under which an armed attack against one signatory is to be treated as an attack against all three, according to reports.
The agreement comes at a particularly volatile moment for the region, with continuing conflict and growing concerns over missile and drone attacks, maritime security and the possibility of a wider regional confrontation.
The pact brings together three strategically important countries: Saudi Arabia, a major Gulf power; Pakistan, a nuclear-armed military power; and Türkiye, a NATO member with one of the region's largest armed forces
