Singapore public service layoffs: GovTech officers in their 40s form largest age group affected

Among those impacted by GovTech's restructuring exercise, about four in 10 officers are aged 40 to 49, making it the largest age group affected. Those above 50 make up 30% of those retrenched. Meanwhile union and government agencies have identified more than 300 job opportunities to help them get back on their feet. Nasyrah Rohim reports.
