Adetshina case | Court to rule next month on detention

The Cape Town Regional Court is expected to make a ruling next month in the civil matter between the Department of Home Affairs, and former Miss South Africa contestant and Miss Universe Nigeria, Chidimma Adetshina.

She was arrested last month, suspected of being in the country illegally.

The Department of Home Affairs has applied for confirmation of detention, for the purposes of deportation
