Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Monday met representatives of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which has been leading protests over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations, even as education reform activist Sonam Wangchuk ended his 23-day hunger strike following the discussions.

The meeting came amid the CJP’s “Chalo Sansad” march in Delhi, where thousands of students, youth groups and supporters gathered at Jantar Mantar before marching towards Parliament. Security was tightened across central Delhi in view of the demonstration.
