- UKRAINE AND EU TO SIGN €2B DEFENSE DEAL
Ukraine and the European Union are set to sign a draft €2 billion defense agreement aimed at expanding cooperation on drone and missile production as early as this year. According to a document obtained by TVP World, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen are expected to sign the proposal on Wednesday. The agreement also includes plans to allow Ukraine to store drones outside its territory for the first time.
- POLAND TO HOST FIRST COALITION OF THE WILLING DRILLS
Poland will host the first military exercises of the Coalition of the Willing in the coming months, Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced. He also said Poland could become a permanent host for British and French troops, adding to the existing U.S. military presence in the country as allies strengthen regional security cooperation.
- RUSSIA STRIKES KYIV AS UKRAINE HITS OIL REFINERIES
At least seven people were killed and 78 injured after a 24-hour wave of Russian attacks across Ukraine, including ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv. Meanwhile, Ukraine launched strikes against two major Russian oil refineries and targeted tankers in the Sea of Azov, continuing its campaign against Russia's military and energy infrastructure.
