A woman in Montreal’s Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighbourhood says she was stunned to return home from out of province to learn her car was boxed in by construction.
Alison Aylward says she wasn’t warned of the roadwork that’s left her unable to get out of her driveway. Several of her neighbours said they received notice only after construction had already begun.
As Dan Spector reports, some in the area are also worried that the roadwork could create unwanted traffic challenges.
