Madlanga Commission | Padayachee says Mkhwanazi knew of Khumalo's arrest and had no issues with it

Senior IDAC investigator, Brian Padayachee, has testified that KZN top cop, Lt-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi knew of Lt-General Dumisani Khumalo's pending arrest, and had no issues with it.

He added that Mkhwanazi submitted an affidavit to the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption in one of its probes on Crime Intelligence.

These statements emerged as Padayachee denied allegations of interference in the unit that is designed to investigate high-level and complex corruption.
