Iran fired missiles toward Kuwait and Bahrain after the United States launched a massive military operation targeting more than **80 Iranian military sites**, dramatically escalating the conflict across the Gulf. Kuwait activated its air defence systems to intercept incoming projectiles, while Bahrain sounded nationwide missile warning sirens. Earlier, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said it struck over 80 targets, including air defence systems, command-and-control centres, coastal radar sites, anti-ship missile batteries and more than 60 IRGC fast attack boats, following attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. Explosions rocked Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island and Sirik as fears of a wider regional war sent shockwaves through global markets and energy supplies.
