US Bombs Iran After Attacks On Ships In Hormuz| Explosions Rock Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Islands

The United States launched a new wave of airstrikes on Iran after accusing Tehran of attacking three commercial vessels transiting the strategic Strait of Hormuz, sharply escalating tensions in West Asia. According to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), more than 80 Iranian military targets were struck, including air defense systems, command-and-control networks, coastal radar sites, anti-ship missile positions, and over 60 IRGC boats. Explosions were reported in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, and Sirik, while Iran condemned the strikes as a violation of the ceasefire and warned of retaliation. Washington also revoked Iran's temporary oil sanctions waiver, adding pressure on Tehran as fears of disruption to global shipping and energy supplies pushed oil prices higher.
