France: Drought conditions worsen amid successive heatwaves • FRANCE 24 English

Amid the extreme heat this summer, France is also grappling with an exceptional drought. Two thirds of ground water levels are currently below normal and around 70% of the country has been placed under 'water restrictions' to help preserve supplies.
