National Day Parade 2026: Indoor show brings drone debut and record-breaking special effects

Taking the National Day Parade (NDP) indoors this year has required months of planning and new technology. This year's show features the debut of 300 drones, the largest deployment of special effects and the biggest lighting setup in NDP's history. Behind the scenes, teams from DSTA, the fireworks committee and the lighting crew have worked to balance innovation, safety and spectacle, creating an immersive experience for audiences while ensuring every element runs seamlessly.
