Migration remains thorny issue

The African Union Executive Council has agreed that migration remains one of the continent's most pressing challenges.

Ministers meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, have recommended that African leaders hold a comprehensive discussion on migration, border management and the free movement of people in Africa.

South Africa says it is strengthening border management, while ensuring migration is governed in line with the law. Sophie Mokoena reports.
