The base hosts American forces, and four plumes of black smoke were seen rising near the site. Earlier, Jordan and Bahrain also reported incoming missile attacks, including reports of explosions near the US Navy's Fifth Fleet headquarters, as fighting continues to intensify over the Strait of Hormuz.
