A crucial round of talks between the Centre and the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is scheduled tomorrow at the Constitution Club in New Delhi, as both sides attempt to break the deadlock over the nationwide NEET paper leak protests. The meeting follows multiple rounds of negotiations, with the Centre agreeing to hold discussions at a neutral venue after the CJP rejected earlier proposals to meet at a minister's residence.

The biggest sticking point remains the CJP's demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. While government representatives have reportedly agreed in principle to discuss several reform proposals, they have sought additional time on the resignation demand. A third round of talks is expected, with both sides hoping to find common ground.

The meeting also comes as the Centre moves ahead with a tougher anti-paper leak law, including proposals for stricter penalties, fast-track courts and reforms to the National Testing Agency (NTA), following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assurance of stronger action against examination fraud.
