Sonam Wangchuk 'Dragged Away' Before Cockroach Janta Party's Sansad March: Mahua Moitra Reacts

A political row has erupted after activist Sonam Wangchuk was removed from the Jantar Mantar protest site and shifted to Safdarjung Hospital on the 21st day of his hunger strike. Reacting to the development, TMC MP Mahua Moitra alleged that Wangchuk was "dragged away" ahead of the planned Sansad March, questioning the timing of the police action and linking it to the upcoming protest.

Delhi Police, however, said the move was carried out following High Court directions and medical advice, adding that Wangchuk was shifted to Safdarjung Hospital due to weakness and signs of dehydration after prolonged fasting.
