Our train came to an unexpected halt at Yedakumari Railway Station for nearly 2 hours in heavy rain to allow the trial run of a 25-coach LHB rake. With no mobile network, no food stalls, and surrounded by dense forests, it turned into an unforgettable railway experience.

After the long wait, the journey continued through the lush green landscapes of Subrahmanya Road, Puttur, and Mangaluru, before I boarded the 2-hour delayed Mangala Express towards Ernakulam.
