The project's foundation was deeply rooted in the concept of 'green nature', a theme that extended far beyond mere aesthetics. Inspired by the apartment complex's own emphasis on landscape integration, the designers sought to weave nature seamlessly into every corner of the living space. The foyer was conceived as the heart of this vision, serving as the very first impression for guests and setting a tone of organic warmth and connection that would resonate throughout the entire home.
Designing the foyer, while deeply rewarding, presented its own thoughtful challenges — most notably, the absence of abundant natural light, which called for a deliberate selection of low-light-tolerant plants. A distinctive mint green entrance door was chosen to instantly communicate vitality and a vibrant sense of welcome. To carry the natural theme indoors, the team curated an earthy, rustic material palette of brick, kota stone, and wood, layered with green hues that organically blur the boundary between the built environment and the natural world, with sustainability woven into every decision.
The spatial planning was guided by a desire for openness, flow, and purposeful living. A porous layout strategy was employed to draw natural light deep into the interiors, making the space feel expansive and airy. The kitchen was thoughtfully designed as a hybrid space, balancing a closed zone for Indian cooking alongside an open, social area. The balconies were transformed into lush, plant-filled extensions of the living space, complete with deck flooring that dissolved the boundary between indoors and outdoors — reinforcing the promise of a home that truly breathes and lives alongside its residents.
