The IRGC claimed it targeted US military positions in Kuwait, while Bahrain activated missile sirens and Qatar reported multiple explosions as air defence systems intercepted incoming projectiles. Meanwhile, CENTCOM said US strikes targeted Iranian military capabilities, but Iranian media reported damage to airports, railway stations, bridges and communications infrastructure across southern Iran. President Donald Trump had earlier warned of broader infrastructure attacks. The latest exchange has intensified fears of a wider regional conflict across the Gulf.
