Closer ties between Canada and EU 'sensible': former U.K. MP | Hanomansing Tonight

Former U.K. MP Andrew Percy voted in favour of Brexit. But while full European Union membership isn't on offer for Canada, he said the idea of Europe and Canada working more closely together is 'sensible' given the disruption of trade with the U.S. It comes shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump called the idea of Canada becoming an associate member of the EU 'laughable.'
