The Nigerian government has expressed severe concern and issued a stern warning to South Africa following the confirmed killings of two Nigerian citizens, Bishop Taiwo Michael Fakunle and James Uchechukwu Nwankwo. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bishop Fakunle was shot dead at his residence in Johannesburg, while Mr. Nwankwo died following brutal interrogation techniques by South African police officers. The tragic deaths come amid escalating xenophobic tensions and growing deportation threats against foreign nationals in South Africa.
