Sky News can reveal Huntingdon stabbing and Bedford train crash victims are the latest to have had their data inappropriately accessed by NHS staff.
A joint investigation with the Health Service Journal has exposed the full extent of these kinds of breaches.
More than 2900 cases have been investigated by NHS Trusts in the past 5 years but none have been prosecuted by the information commissioner's office since 2023.
Previous high-profile breaches have included the Nottingham stabbing attack. The dad of one of the victims, and a GP himself has warned the NHS faces a "tsumani" of cases.
