In 1972, a group of children playing in a field in Kōchi, Japan, discovered something they could not explain.
It was a small metallic object, unlike anything they had seen before. But according to the strange accounts that followed, this was only the beginning.
The object appeared and disappeared under mysterious circumstances. It was taken away from the field, only to seemingly return. Witnesses described strange lights and an encounter that would become one of Japan's most unusual UFO mysteries.
More than fifty years later, the Kera Incident remains difficult to explain.
Was it an elaborate hoax? A forgotten piece of technology? Or did the children of Kera really encounter something beyond explanation?
