I came to Manila, Philippines for the first time — and I was completely shocked! 🇵🇭
This is my First 24 Hours in the Philippines, experiencing my First Impressions of Manila while diving deep into Filipino culture, local food and everyday life. From Manila Airport and meeting locals for the first time to taking a Grab to my hotel in Makati, the adventure starts immediately.
I explore Manila at night to see if it’s safe, wake up to a beautiful rooftop swimming pool, take a motorcycle taxi to Salcedo Weekend Market, and try authentic Filipino food. Then I visit Rizal Park, one of the most important places in Philippine history, before exploring Intramuros and Fort Santiago.
Things get crazy when I meet a friendly local guide — and suddenly I become the driver! We explore the historic side of Manila together, meet some beautiful Filipino women, and discover more about the history and culture of the Philippines.
Then I take a tricycle with locals on a crazy adventure to find the viral Filipino drink Magic Water, visit SM Mall of Asia in Manila Bay, try the legendary Filipino fast food Jollibee, get a haircut from a local barber, and take a crazy ride into the Poblacion nightlife in Makati.
But the night takes an insane and unexpected turn…
This is my FIRST TIME IN THE PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭, my FIRST DAY IN THE PHILIPPINES, and my FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF MANILA — full of culture shock, crazy moments, insane experiences, madness, Filipino food, beautiful people, local culture, history and Manila nightlife.
