Russia has launched another major strike on Ukraine's military logistics network, targeting the Danube port of Reni in the Odesa region. Moscow says attack drones hit ammunition, equipment and supply depots as Russian forces intensify efforts to disrupt Ukraine's ability to produce, store and deliver weapons to the battlefield.
Russia also claims its air defenses intercepted and destroyed 325 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions, including the Moscow region, Crimea, the Black Sea and Sea of Azov.
Retired Russian Army colonel Viktor Litovkin says the strategy is designed to destroy Ukrainian weapons "before they ever end up being used against its troops." Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova accused the West of using Ukraine as a staging ground against Russia and claimed the goal is to weaken Moscow by "bleeding Ukraine."
From ports and fuel depots to drone facilities, ammunition hubs and weapons production sites, the battle is increasingly focused on destroying the logistics chain that keeps Ukraine's military supplied.
