Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned on Wednesday that Russia is likely to increase production of ballistic missiles, describing the threat as a major challenge for Ukraine ahead of winter, during talks in Kyiv with newly appointed British Defence Secretary Wes Streeting. Zelensky said recent Russian attacks signalled that Moscow had no intention of reducing hostilities and was instead seeking to escalate the war through expanded missile strikes. The meeting came after a fresh wave of Russian attacks on Kyiv and surrounding areas killed 17 people and injured dozens, underscoring Ukraine's growing concerns over depleted air defence stocks and the need for continued Western military support.
