‘I have more insight’: UK’s first deafblind doctor tells her story

Alexandra Adams has become the UK's first ever deafblind doctor after graduating earlier this month.

She has just under five percent central vision in her left eye, and severe and profound hearing loss.

Her journey to becoming a medic was anything but easy, battling discrimination and illness to get to where she is today.
