Dem Rep SLAMS investors who profit from ‘child imprisonment’ at ICE detention center

The calls to close Dilley detention center, the notorious facility in south Texas, are growing louder. In a letter to Secretary Markwayne Mullin, more than 110 House Democrats cited the inhumane conditions and brutality unfolding inside. Rep. Joaquin Castro talks about his upcoming visit to Dilley and says it’s “shocking that we have allowed for investors to make money off of child imprisonment, of kids who are as young as two months old.”
