Delhi Police Says Pakistan-Based Handles Spread AI Deepfakes During Protests | NEET Paper Leak |N18V

Delhi Police has said its investigation found that several social media accounts allegedly operated from Pakistan were spreading fake content related to the protests. According to DCP Central Rohit Rajbir Singh, more than 400 such social media handles have been identified and blocked.

The police said the accounts were allegedly sharing AI-generated content, deepfake videos, edited photographs and manipulated visuals, including altered statements attributed to senior officials. Delhi Police also said some of these handles were active during Operation Sindoor, allegedly spreading misinformation.
