Putin Gets First Look At Russia's Advanced Light Combat Jet Yak-130M For Ground & Air Operations

Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Irkutsk Aviation Plant in Siberia, where he inspected production of the MC-21 passenger jet and the Yak-130 trainer aircraft. The MC-21, Russia's answer to the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737, has faced repeated delays due to Western sanctions, which forced the country to replace imported components with domestically produced alternatives.
