The widow of a police officer who was killed while on duty has said it is "deplorable to me that we have reached a point where releasing prisoners early is even considered acceptable".
It follows the revelation that two of PC Andrew Harper's killers could be eligible for early release from prison.
Andy Burnham has said he will 'review' the government's prisoner early release policy, a pledge Sky's correspondent Mollie Malone says is as "vague as it is massive".

On the panel tonight:
Baroness Thangam Debbonaire, Labour Peer
Gillian Keegan, Former Conservative Minister
