Last week, we kicked off building our traditional log shed using lumber we milled from a tree on our property. This week, the heavy equipment comes out.

We're excavating the hillside, installing a French drain, pouring the footings, and completely transforming our parking area—one step closer to turning this 1980s fixer-upper into our dream property.

When we bought this house, it came with everything included... including years of neglected projects. Watching it slowly come back to life, one weekend at a time, has been one of the most rewarding adventures we've ever taken.
