Baloch representative and leader Mir Yar Baloch declared independence from Pakistan with its own anthem and currency and armed forces. Can Pakistan survive without its largest province?
Balochistan covers over 44% of its total land. Highly rich in minerals, natural gas, massive reserves of coal, copper and gold as well and it holds the strategic Gwadar port which is the cornerstone of the China-Pakistan relationship also making it indispensable to both.
But The irony of Pakistan's biggest province is that it is also its poorest and least-developed province as Islamabad uses it for its richness while ignoring its needs.
