Morgan Rogers is believed to be Arsenal’s No.1 forward target after agreeing a £34m deal for Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis.
There has been no club-to-club talks between Arsenal and Villa yet but Sky Sports News has been reporting that sources close to the situation expect an approach.
Now that England are out of the World Cup, interest in Rogers is set to intensify, despite Villa making it clear they do not want to sell Rogers.
Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG are also interested in the forward.
Arsenal remain interested in Julian Alvarez but a deal looks difficult to do, especially given the family's preference to remain living in Spain and Álvarez's wish to join Barcelona.
