Bladesmiths are pushed through brutal Forged in Fire challenges as they turn springs into signature blades, survive oil barrel and leather vest tests, and fight for a spot in the final round. The finalists are sent home to build a Revolutionary War sergeant spontoone, after their weapons face the wild boar, air cannon, and redcoat sharpness tests before one weapon takes the win.
Next, two finalists create their version of the Scottish backsword, an iconic military blade with major historical weight. The final weapons slash through a ballistics dummy and smash into a massive block of ice, but one test goes dangerously wrong when Robert’s weapon injures Jay badly enough to stop the competition.
