Educator and climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has rejected being called a "modern Gandhi" or a hero, saying he is "just an ordinary citizen." Speaking as the Cockroach Janta Party's protest at Jantar Mantar over alleged examination irregularities entered its 22nd day, Wangchuk urged people to stop waiting for leaders and instead take responsibility as active citizens. His remarks come amid the continuing agitation demanding accountability over the alleged exam irregularities.
