King grants last woman hanged in UK conditional pardon

More than 70 years after her execution, Ruth Ellis has been granted a conditional pardon by the King.

Ellis, the last woman to be executed in the UK, was hanged in 1955 for the murder of David Blakely.

Her granddaughter, Laura Enston, and family lawyer Grace Houghton discuss the significance of the pardon and why campaigners believe the case remains important today.
