After sharing a full day of life in our beautiful little home, today I continue another important step in our homestead journey by cleaning up and carefully storing the leftover timber and firewood around our house. It may seem like a small task, but it is an important part of creating a safer, cleaner, and more comfortable home for my family.
Building this little house has been a long journey filled with hard work, challenges, and hope. Although the main construction is now complete, there are still many small jobs waiting to be finished. Today, I organize the remaining wood from the building process, stack the firewood neatly for future use, and clear the yard to make our home safer and more organized.
Living a simple rural life has taught me to appreciate every resource. Nothing goes to waste. The leftover timber may be useful for future repairs or small DIY projects, while the firewood will help provide warm meals for my family.
