After four years working abroad, I finally returned home… but the reality that awaited me was more heartbreaking than I had imagined.
The old house was abandoned, family life was no longer the same, and my young daughter, whom I had entrusted to my care 2 years away, was living in loneliness and hardship.
With nowhere else to go, I decided to leave with my daughter… and start from scratch.
In this journey, my daughter and I returned to our abandoned house in the mountains of Vietnam, gradually repairing our old home and building a new life with our own hands.
From renovating the abandoned house, building a wood-burning stove, gardening, growing vegetables, cooking… to creating a simple, self-sufficient life in the Vietnamese mountains.
The video captures the daily life of the father and daughter: repairing the house, building a new life, tending the garden, supporting my daughter's studies, cooking, and small but loving family moments.
With the meager savings I accumulated after years of working abroad, I strived to create a warmer, safer, and better home for my daughter.
