This time, I’m spending 24 hours in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the capital of Nova Scotia and the largest city in Atlantic Canada. After travelling around Cape Breton, I finally make it to Halifax to explore the city, its waterfront, food and fascinating history.
In this video, I visit Halifax Citadel, walk along the Halifax waterfront, explore Halifax Public Gardens and Pier 21, and take the ferry across to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I also learn about the Halifax Explosion of 1917, visit the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, and discover Halifax’s connection to the Titanic before visiting the Titanic graves at Fairview Lawn Cemetery.
Halifax is compact, walkable and full of history, with some surprising Scottish connections.
