Lindsay Clancy is on trial for the deaths of her three young children. She says she was not criminally responsible because she was suffering from postpartum psychosis.

On Day 11, the jury heard from another of Lindsay’s mental-health providers — and the testimony cut in both directions. But one of the most significant moments for the defense came from a witness who barely said anything at all. And later, the jury learned about a troubling turn in Lindsay’s treatment that raises an entirely different question about what happened in the weeks before the killings.
