Houthis Lock Missiles On Saudi Bridges? Chilling Warning After Major Ground Capture | Watch

The Houthis are threatening to expand their campaign beyond Yemen and target infrastructure inside Saudi Arabia, including bridges, if Riyadh continues its airstrikes. A Houthi military source in Sana’a told the Lebanese outlet Al-Akhbar that Saudi bridges could become targets in retaliation for what the group says are attacks on civilian infrastructure in Yemen. The warning follows accusations over a Saudi strike near a market in Taiz province. The Houthis said Saudi F-15s carried out the attack and claimed seven people were killed and around 40 injured. Yemen’s internationally recognised government disputes that account, saying its forces were targeting a Houthi military camp and vehicles near the site. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree has also claimed that dozens of Saudi strikes targeted roads and bridges across several Yemeni provinces. Saudi and Yemeni government forces say attacks on such infrastructure can disrupt Houthi supply routes and the movement of weapons and fighters. Saudi Arabia has meanwhile activated early-warning systems in Jazan and Najran, near the Yemeni border. The latest threat raises the possibility of the conflict increasingly shifting from military targets toward critical infrastructure inside Saudi Arabia.
