Yemen's conflict escalates as air attacks are pound Sanaa, the capital of the Houthis.

Ground battles around the southwestern province of Taiz are intensifying, as is fighting for control of Marib - the last major northern stronghold of the Yemeni government. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, Chairman of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, says a counter-offensive is now underway, announcing the start of military operations to restore remaining territories and extend state authority over the entire national territory.
