According to The New York Times, citing Pentagon figures sent to Congress, the Iran war cost $47.1 billion through October 16. More than 60% of the spending went toward bombs, missiles and other munitions. The Pentagon has also reported $29 billion in munitions costs since February 28, while the Trump administration is seeking up to $70 billion in emergency funding.
