JD Vance-Linked Group In Bolsonaro Poll Probe! Brazil Investigates Alleged Plot Against Lula

A political controversy has erupted in Brazil after the Supreme Court ordered an investigation into possible foreign involvement in Flávio Bolsonaro's presidential campaign following his defeat to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The probe includes reported contacts with the Rockbridge Network, a conservative US organisation co-founded by Vice President JD Vance, alongside questions about election betting platforms and online political advertising. Rockbridge has denied involvement, and there is no established evidence that Vance personally participated in any alleged election interference. The investigation comes as Bolsonaro's departure for the United States despite a passport surrender order adds to the controversy, while Donald Trump has questioned Brazil's election result.
